Our Favorite Boat Activities
The versatility of boats makes it easy to enjoy a variety of adventures! After all, boats are often powerful enough to tow water sports enthusiasts, yet comfortable enough that you could pass away hours on it without a second thought.
If you’re looking for new ideas for your next voyage, read on! Below, we cover some of our favorite marine activities.
Take a Fishing Trip
A boat lets you fish in unparalleled comfort. It's a pretty big upgrade from fishing from shore. Cast your line, then get comfortable on the padded seats. Take full advantage of the extra space that allows you to pack all your equipment and snacks. With all that room, you can easily bring an entire expedition with you to snag those big catches. Bring along fellow fishing enthusiasts or your family so you can show the kids how to angle.
Host a Dinner Party
Ready to elevate your dinner party game? Host your next meal out on the water! A boat offers plenty of space for storing and serving food. Putter on out to a highly scenic vista, drop your anchor, and spread out your food. For extra flair, you can theme your dinner party around a concept or type of food, like taco night or a luau barbecue. If you don’t want to put in as much work cooking, invite all your friends to bring a dish to share at a potluck instead. You’re providing the transport and venue, after all!
Have a Board Game Tournament
Take advantage of the spacious seating found on a boat by throwing a game tournament. Gather up a group of your friends and your favorite games. Set the boards on portable tables or dinner trays. Then let the competition commence! Winners take on each other and move closer to claiming the championship. Losers play each other and hone their skills for next time. It's a great way to indulge your competitive sides while facilitating easy mingling among each other.
